This year marks the 20th edition of the popular Goodwood Revival Festival held in England. For those who don't follow Goodwood Revival, it's an annual event that showcases classic race cars in retro fashion. The multi-million dollar classic racers would then go head-to-head with one another like the races of the past. In fact, even attendees are requested to wear attires styled to that of the 1940s up to the 1960s. To match the occasion Porsche has set up a booth in the form of a historic workshop with some of their really special vintage models on display.

For the 20th anniversary of Goodwood Revival, Porsche Classic held two special exhibits for visitors. The first of which is a 911 F model wherein visitors to the exhibit were able to see for themselves how maintenance and restoration work on the body is done in various different stages. Select sheet metal were even reproduced live, allowing visitors to see how much detailed work is involved for cars undergoing the Porsche Classic restoration.

The second exhibit focuses on a fully restored first-generation 911 worked on by Porsche Classic and its partners from Great Britain. The car had also participated in other illustrious events prior to Goodwood Revival such as Silverstone Classic, Le Mans Classic and the Oldtimer Grand Prix driven by Derek Bell. At the festival, vistors had the chance to see it upclose with its new racing paintwork.

Along with the special exhibits, Porsche also displayed a host of parts available for older 911s. There were even reissued tool bags for all Porsche 356 and 911 F models. To further demonstrate the capabilities of a full factory restoration, a 356 Carrera 2 GS engine restored by a customer was regularly started.

Outside of the exhibition, three Porsche 911 classics acted as pace cars for the race. There were also a number of rare expensive Porsches going at it during the entire 3-day event.
