Second-gen Range Rover Evoque could get sleeker look, bigger dimensions

It looks like the folks over at Land Rover have been busy of late after our spies spotted what looks to be the next-generation Range Rover Evoque.

Despite the camo livery covering key portions of the all-new Evoque, it's quite clear that Land Rover was busy giving the SUV a nip and tuck. For now, our best guess is that the next-gen Evoque will borrow styling cues from the new Velar, as well as the all-new Discovery.

Also worth mentioning about this particular Evoque prototype is that it appears to have been made bigger than its predecessor. This is interesting given the rumor going around that the Evoque will be joined by a smaller crossover some time in the future.

Despite the upcoming additions and change in design, the Range Rover Evoque will apparently still use the current platform. However, it will most likely receive minor revisions to accommodate the slightly bigger body, as well as support hybrid powertrains.

Other than that, expect the next-gen Range Rover Evoque to come with an array of Ingenium four-cylinder engines. Front-wheel drive is also expected to be available as standard while all-wheel drive can be specified for higher trim models.

With the three-door version of the Evoque getting axed, the all-new Evoque will most likely be available only as a five-door hardtop or as a convertible.

The second-generation Range Rover Evoque could make its official debut at the 2018 Paris Motor Show.
